The Gunmakers Trust has been instrumental in supporting apprentices in British gunmaking since 2007, via a 4-year bursary award. With 10 bursaries currently available, our primary objective is to preserve relevant craft heritage skills for the next generation and ensure that British gunmakers continue to lead, worldwide.

Aim to Sustain

We work to promote and protect game shooting and associated wildlife habitats in the UK. We support sustainable and responsible shooting, environmental balance, animal welfare, local communities and the rural way of life.

Angling Trades Association

The ATA represents angling manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, fisheries, publishers and distributors. The Association counts among its members a majority of the UK’s major angling suppliers, as well as leading retailers, fisheries and publishers.

British Fly Casting Club

Founded in 2003, the BFCC blends traditional fly fishing values with modern techniques, offering a sociable space for all skill levels. It promotes inclusive casting, provides coaching, and hosts competitions across the UK, helping members improve tackle knowledge, fishing success, and casting distance

The Country Land & Business Association

The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) represents rural landowners, farmers, and businesses across England and Wales. Clay Pigeon Shooting Association

The national governing body for clay target shooting in England, supporting clay target shooters from the very first time of trying the sport right up to the top competitors. They have the vision, resources and commitment to develop the sport through an understanding of today’s clay shooting needs and to protect, nurture and shape the sport’s future.

The Country Food Trust

The Country Food Trust is the protein provider for food poverty sector. They supply food banks and community kitchens throughout the UK with nutritious, protein-rich meals and raw meat sourced from the countryside, addressing the nutritional needs of those facing food insecurity.

The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust

The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust is an independent wildlife conservation charity which has carried out scientific research into Britain’s game and wildlife since the 1930s. We advise farmers and landowners on improving wildlife habitats and employ over 70 research staff with expertise in areas such as birds, insects, mammals, farming, fish, and statistics.
