E.J. Churchill on the hunt for new staff
Top shooting ground Game Fair Clay Line organiser E.J. Churchill is looking to recruit two key personnel to move it forward further.
The first role is for a full-time Gunroom Administrative Assistant to work at its shooting ground in Buckinghamshire, which welcomes around 50,000 visitors a year.
The gun shop requires an enthusiastic individual who has a love and passion for shooting and the gunroom houses some of the finest shotguns and rifles in the country and is a very fast paced growing environment to work in.
The successful candidate will manage the service and repairs operation, provide outstanding customer service as part of ‘The E.J. Churchill Experience’, tracking and reporting of all aftersales processes, promoting its services, covering shop floor duties including Saturdays and acting as a key point of contact for clients.
Working alongside the Gunroom Manager, they will also help to improve, source and expand the gunroom collection and will need to be self-motivated and proactive, commercially minded, a hardworking team player with excellent customer service, presentation and communication skills and an aptitude for sales.
The role will require some Saturday work and a driving licence is required.
E.J. Churchill is also seeking a full-time Graphic Design & Digital Marketing Coordinator to work on site, take ownership of all creative content in an on-brand manner across all digital and print platforms and be responsible for managing social media channels, e-mail marketing and its website.
Key responsibilities will include designing and curating adverts, ensuring print guidelines and deadlines are met, producing internal marketing literature for all departments, collateral for its large international events, creating and distributing e-mail marketing campaigns and maintaining and growing the customer database.
They will also manage E.J. Churchill’s social media channels each day, sourcing and creating appropriate content and captions, responding to messages and comments and helping with team at Swinton estate with social media and online guidance when required.
In addition, the role involves ensuring the brand identity is always defined and represented while also managing and maintaining the website and its content.
The successful candidate will need to be Mac OS literate, with experience using e-mail marketing software, social media channels, Hootsuite, WordPress and the Adobe Suite as well as having excellent written and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
It would suit a creative thinker and knowledge of photography techniques and photo editing would be advantageous.
