What is the BFCC Casting?

The BFCC casting refers to organised fly-casting competitions run by the British Fly Casting Club (BFCC).

The BFCC is the UK’s governing body for tournament fly casting — a sport focused purely on accuracy and distance, rather than catching fish. In competitions, casters use specially designed rods, lines and leaders to see how far (or how accurately) they can cast under standardised rules.

The BFCC will once again be running daily single- and double-handed distance competitions – for men, women and juniors (under 18). There are great prizes to be won and it all culminates in championship qualifying and finals on the Sunday. Entry is £10 with re-entry allowed.
