THE GAME FAIR CONFIRM STILL ‘GOOD TO GO’ STATUS
In reaction to the Government announcement this evening The Game Fair team can confirm the event will be going ahead safely from 23-25th July as planned.
Events such as The Game Fair, agricultural shows, flower and garden shows, were previously sanctioned as part of the Government’s Phase Two relaxations announced on April 12th with greater freedoms given as part of May’s Phase Three measures.
“We have been overwhelmed with positive support and reaction” commented Managing Director, James Gower. “The Game Fair team have already planned and implemented additional measures to safeguard and reassure our visitors and exhibitors. These include providing additional toilets and showers with increased cleaning protocols. ‘Freedom Day’ on July 19th will be an added bonus and The Game Fair will be there to help people celebrate” added James.
“With foreign holidays in doubt the team have seen unprecedented demand for hospitality, camping and glamping, with ticket sales soaring, demand has never been greater. We can’t wait to welcome you back to The Game Fair” added Gemma Payne, The Game Fair Head of Marketing.
The Game Fair has added outdoor cinema, new restaurants and more than 250 new exhibitors to the regular lineup. Between £60m – £80m is expected to be spent at the fair and a similar amount spent in the local economy giving the region a much need boost.
