For three days each summer, everything we value at Orvis finds a place in one field, from conservation and craftsmanship to community and time spent outdoors.
A shared love of the countryside
At its heart, The Game Fair brings together a community that understands the importance of looking after wild places.
Across the three days, we meet anglers at every stage of their journey. Some are picking up a fly rod for the first time, others have spent decades refining their craft. Conversations come easily, about rivers, conditions, favourite beats or simply how the day has unfolded so far.
It is also a chance to put faces to names. Customers, guides, partners and friends of the brand all pass through, and those connections are what stay with us long after the event ends.
Bringing Orvis to life
Visitors can explore our latest tackle, spend time with the team and get a feel for the gear in a relaxed and open environment. It is about making fly fishing approachable and something to try, not something to overthink.
Across the weekend, we run free Fly Fishing 101 sessions, offering a simple introduction for those starting out, alongside opportunities to test cast our full rod range, including the new Orvis Recon Fly Rod.
With expert instruction on hand and the chance to win prizes, there is something here for everyone, whether you are picking up a rod for the first time or fine tuning your cast.
Learning, not just watching
What matters most to us is creating opportunities for people to get involved. Those first few casts, a small adjustment in technique or a conversation that answers a long held question are often the moments that turn curiosity into something more. The Game Fair gives us the chance to create that environment, where learning feels natural and accessible.
Part of something bigger
The Game Fair is not just about showcasing products. It is about celebrating a way of life, one rooted in patience, skill, stewardship and connection to the natural world.
For Orvis, it is a chance to stand alongside a community that continues to care for and shape the future of the countryside. And that is why we love it.
