Culinary Icon & Celebrity Chef
Marco Pierre White is one of the most influential figures in modern British gastronomy. Born in Leeds in 1961, he began his cooking career at just 16 and rose rapidly through the culinary ranks, training under renowned chefs before opening his own restaurants. In 1995 he became the first British chef – and at just 33 the youngest ever – to be awarded three Michelin stars, a milestone that cemented his place in culinary history.
Often called "the first celebrity chef" and the "enfant terrible" of the UK restaurant scene, Marco is known not only for his extraordinary talent in the kitchen but also for training some of the world's best–known chefs, including Gordon Ramsay, Heston Blumenthal and Curtis Stone.
After retiring from the haute-cuisine kitchen in 1999 and returning his Michelin stars, Marco has built a successful restaurant empire and become a familiar face on television — from Hell's Kitchen to Master Chef franchises around the world.
His passion for food, innovation and mentorship continues to influence chefs and food lovers globally, making him a perfect guest for The Game Fair VIP experience in 2026.
