We are thrilled to welcome World Champion Boyd Exell to The Game Fair 2025 as the headline act in the Main Arena. As a professional carriage-driving instructor and trainer, Exell will showcase his unparalleled skills, captivating audiences with live demonstrations of precision, speed, and mastery in the art of carriage driving.
Boyd Exell’s passion for horses began at the age of six, when a school teacher in his native Australia introduced him to a carriage driving enthusiast. His love for the sport deepened when he won the Australian Pairs Championship at just 16.
After moving to the UK to hone his skills, Boyd quickly made a name for himself in the world of carriage driving, competing for Australia and training the British team. Throughout his career, he has been crowned Four-in-Hand World Champion seven times and has won the FEI World Cup Driving Championship ten times.
Boyd’s competitive drive has shaped him into the world-class athlete he is today. Recognised with numerous awards, including the Reem Acra Best Athlete and Ariat International Athlete of the Year, Boyd was also honoured with the Order of Australia Medal for his outstanding contributions to equestrian sport, particularly four-in-hand carriage driving.
