What is the BFCC Casting?

The BFCC Fly Casting Championship is one of the UK’s premier fly casting competitions, bringing together some of the country’s most accomplished casters to demonstrate their precision, technique and distance. Competitors are tested across a series of demanding disciplines, showcasing the skill and control required in competitive fly casting.

2026 Champions

The BFCC Fly Casting Championship tested competitors across three disciplines: trout distance, trout accuracy and double-handed overhead salmon distance. Congratulations to James Evans, who claimed the Open title with an outstanding combined score of 294.8%, and junior champion Ben Thomas, who achieved a perfect 300% across the three disciplines.
