Eoghan Cameron is chairman of the UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC).

He is dedicated to protecting and promoting sustainable shooting for generations to come. Elected as BASC chairman in 2019, he has participated in fieldsports since childhood. His passions are deer stalking, all forms of driven and walked-up game shooting, as well as casting the odd fly.

He said: “BASC has enjoyed a longstanding and successful involvement with The Game Fair. I am extremely proud of the excellent working relationship that has developed between us. The coming together of the countryside to celebrate shared passions is a highlight of the summer and one that we are doubly looking forward to after the cancellation of last year’s event due to the pandemic. 

“When I am standing with the sun (or rain!) on my face, listening to the bustle and chatter of those around me, soaking up the ambience of The Game Fair after a very long year away; that will be the happiest of moments. 

“We cannot wait for the long-overdue rekindling of old friendships and the opportunity to forge new ones. We are, of course, also delighted that BASC members will once again benefit from complimentary entry.”
