The Game Fair is extremely delighted to be welcoming Jimmy Doherty to Ragley Hall this year.
Jimmy Doherty, TV presenter, farmer and founder of Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park will be showcasing his dedication to British farming and food when he hosts the VIP Enclosure at The Game Fair. Jimmy will lead on designing the menu which will include ingredients grown locally to the venue and celebrating the huge variety the British countryside has to offer.
Jimmy started out on his farming journey back in 2002, when Jimmy and Michaela, now his wife, first set eyes on Pannington Hall and returned the totally derelict site back to a fully working, thriving livestock farm. In 2003, a BBC2 series called ‘Jimmy’s Farm’ followed his escapades and soon the farm became a destination for tourists and locals alike. Jimmy’s Farm is now home to a wildlife park, award winning restaurant, wedding venue, vegetable and flower gardens, a farm shop and holds numerous science and food festivals throughout the year.
Looking forward to The Game Fair in July, Jimmy commented, “What a truly amazing event The Game Fair is, it represents so much that I love about being a farmer and a foodie. I intend to bring some absolutely delicious food to the plates and palates of our diners, mixing up the flavours whilealways staying true to the land and the bounty it provides.”
