Pack up a picnic with Wild & Game

Food specialist Wild and Game has launched a deli selection just in time for picnic and events season, with an extended range that encompasses game patés and charcuterie, artisan chutneys and British cheeses.

Wild and Game has grown dramatically since it launched in 2017, riding (and helping to create) a wave of growing interest in eating game. Couple this with a trend for buying food online that’s been accelerated by Covid-19 and Wild and Game has been able to introduce thousands of people to the pleasures of eating this lean, nutritious and sustainable source of meat.

Now the firm is growing its charcuterie range to include game and red wine salami, juniper-cured wild venison carpaccio, wild boar and pork salami and wild boar pancetta. It has also expanded its popular range of patés with two new varieties: venison, juniper and gin, and partridge, gin and pear.

Alongside this comes a range of tangy chutneys and a selection of British cheeses that work perfectly with Wild and Game’s charcuterie as part of a picnic or dinner party spread.

Wild and Game’s co-founder Steven Frampton said: “We know our customers appreciate quality and love to try something a bit different, so it was a natural next step to extend our offering to include additional products that complement our core range of game pies, pasties, ready meals and ready-to-cook meats.
