THE GAME FAIR ANNOUNCES NEW MEDIA PARTNERSHIP WITH GUNDOG JOURNAL

Gundogs have been at the epicentre of The Game Fair since its inception, over 60 years ago. We are delighted to highlight the importance of gundogs at The Game Fair through a significant new media partnership with the UK’s only dedicated gundog publication, Gundog Journal. The Game Fair 23rd – 25th July, Ragley Hall, Warwickshire will once again host the ever-popular Home International and Euro Challenge gundog competitions, showcasing the very best in the gundog world.

The hugely popular Gundog Journal, launched by Fieldsports Press in March 2019, is now firmly established as the world’s leading gundog publication. The bi-monthly high quality printed journal is a staple for anyone with an interest in, or who works gundogs. Each issue covers training, handling, advice and comment as well as all the other aspects involved in owning and living with the 38 officially recognised Kennel Club of Great Britain gundog breeds.

“Partnering Gundog Journal with The Game Fair is superb fit and we are excited to work with the team this year,” said Simon K. Barr owner of Fieldsports Press. “The popularity of Gundog Journal has blown us away, proving that dogs remain our best friends, especially in the shooting field. Much like what will be on offer at The Game Fair in July, our vision is to create something incredible for aspiring gundog owners and field trial winners alike. We can’t wait to meet some of our readers at The Game Fair, which we will be attending with our sister title, Fieldsports Journal.”

The partnership covers all gundog activity at The Game Fair, including the newly introduced Game Fair Working Test Challenge – a competition aimed at amateurs with qualifying rounds held across the country, culminating in the final at The Game Fair in July.

The Game Fair Gundog Chairman, Steve Smith of Wrencourt Gundogs commented “the new Working Test Challenge presents a wonderful opportunity for both Kennel Club registered and non-registered to compete at the Championships in prestigious surroundings at The Game Fair.”

Qualifying dogs and handlers will have the opportunity to compete against the World’s best at the final and have a chance of winning the £2,000 prize money and prizes from Gundog Journal. Further details will be announced soon – look out for them in Gundog Journal.
