The Game Fair gets even more sociable

We all know The Game Fair is THE place to meet old friends, make new ones and celebrate the great British countryside but this summer there will be even more of a party atmosphere.

Thanks to the generosity of Lord Hertford, Thursday evening will see The Game Fair Awards and Gala Dinner in the stunning setting of Ragley’s Great Hall.

The great and good of the industry will celebrate excellence, long service and lifetime achievers. For ghillies and feepers reaching their milestones of 30 years and 50 years, The Game Fair Long Service awards will presented alongside recognition for two individuals who have achieved significance – one in the voluntary sector and one commercially.

Join friends and colleagues at this prestigious event on the eve of The Game Fair and be part of much needed celebration as we acknowledge the past and look forward to the future.

Enjoy a movie at Friday night’s Open Cinema in The Game Fair Enclosure. Grab a deckchair, hamper and some fine malt as we screen the BBC’s adaptation of John Buchan’s, John Macnab. In association with the BBC and British Film Institute, this film from the archives has not been seen since 1974.

Earlier on in the day, James Martin will be hosting his own Garden Party. By invitation only, VIPs gather in the Enclosure to sample English wines and game canapes from budding chefs representing local colleges whilst James mingles to tell you his secret for success every time.

Saturday night will see the return of the hugely popular Guns On Pegs Exhibitor Party.

For the first time in a while, the industry will gather to swap notes, brush themselves off, meet with friends and, quite frankly, have fun.  Expect terrible speeches and a good old-fashioned cover band.
