2022-01-13T19:30:39+00:00

Welligogs began its story in 2000 when founders Kim and Ray Annan made the decision to move from Australia to England. Kim, being British, always wanted to move back home and give her four children a British upbringing. Ray, a born-and-bred Aussie, was reluctant to leave the sunshine but agreed that pastures new, albeit being on the other side of the world, were worth investigating. The question was, what were they going to do to provide for their family? A passing comment from Ray complaining about the British weather ignited a spark for Kim. Rain! Lots ...

Changes to firearms licensing in Northern Ireland needed to “free up trade”

2021-11-25T17:00:59+00:00

The British Association for Shooting and Conservation in Northern Ireland (BASC NI) has called for the Ministerial Directive that limits the number of firearms that a registered firearms dealer may hold, to be scrapped. BASC NI’s recommendation, outlined in a survey response to the Department of Justice (DoJ), is that the number of firearms a dealer can hold, should be decided on an individual basis, depending on the capacity of the dealer and their ability to store the firearms safely. The current approach restricts the ability of many businesses to trade at full capacity and means that ...

The Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust (GWT) is urging anyone in (or who has been in) a gamekeeping profession who may be concerned about coping with fuel costs to get in touch. Helen MJ Benson, Chief ...
