Blenheim Palace is approximately a 1 hour 30 minute drive from both London and Birmingham and sits at the edge of Woodstock in Oxfordshire and just a twenty-minute journey from the city of Oxford.

Please turn off your sat nav when you see the first directional AA sign to the event and follow the appropriate signage.

Blenheim Palace is located eight miles north-west of Oxford, on the A44 Evesham Road. The Palace is signposted from junction nine of the M40. If you are using satellite navigation, please use the postcode OX20 1UL and then follow the AA/RAC signs to The Game Fair as soon as you start seeing them.

The Game Fair is working with Volare Aviation to offer helicopter transport to and from the event. Full details available here.

There are frequent train services to the nearby train stations of Oxford, Oxford Parkway and Hanborough.

Travel from London Marylebone by Chiltern Trains to Oxford Parkway (then connect to Blenheim by Bus 7). This is the quickest route from London to Blenheim.

Travel from London Paddington or Reading by GWR to Oxford (then connect to Blenheim by Bus S3).

Travel by GWR from London Paddington, Reading, or Worcester to Hanborough (then connect to Blenheim by Bus 233).

There are rail connections available from many other cities, by changing at Reading, Didcot Parkway or Birmingham New Street.

Stagecoach Bus S3 and S7 run from Oxford City Centre to Woodstock, four times an hour, 7 days a week. Both start from Oxford Railway Station and pick up in Magdalen Street. Buses stop outside the main entrance, please follow The Game Fair signs on arrival.

The S7 runs every 30 minutes from Oxford Parkway Station and Kidlington to Blenheim.

The S7 runs every 30 minutes from Witney through Bladon for Winston Churchill’s grave.

The S3 runs hourly from Chipping Norton and Charlbury to Blenheim.

The First and Last Mile 411 bus service runs 2 hourly from Eynsham to Hanborough Station where passengers may connect with the Blenheim Shuttle.

There is no direct bus service from Bicester to Woodstock.

Booking a taxi in advance can provide the cheapest, most convenient journey. However please do not allow your taxi to drop you off on the main roads around Blenheim. This is dangerous and will cause traffic issues.

Woodstock is connected to Oxford via the National Cycle Network #5 route. To view the Sustrans cycle route maps in detail visit sustrans.org. Please note that while there are bike racks available at the Palace but cycling within the Park is not permitted. Visitors may cycle from the entrance gates to the Palace and back.
